Fabric Pattern Generation
The image on the right is an example of a repeating fabric pattern I created in Photoshop as well as the associated mood board.
The fabric design has two different repeating patterns overlaid on a starry background. The first is the red and yellow "fireflies" rising from the bottom, and the second is the grid of spiky flowers that create "waves" in the background image.
History Walks
This class project had us examine clothing that was in style 2010-2023 (I focused on 2023) and identify similarities that today's fashion had with the past. Exploring the similarities in external factors, such as wartime, nostalgia, popular icons, politics, economics, etc. of the time, we then made an educated guess about why those elements may be making a comeback.
